Webmaster's Note: There isn't much time left before the Reunion Kicks Off and we wanted to give people a chance to contact eachother before the weekend commences. Although a traditonal message board would be more convenient for users and myself alike, it's a bit time consuming to set up and we didn't have any time to waste. So if you have a message for someone or a comment about the Reunion hit the Post a Message button and send an email and we will post it immediately. Please specify if you want your contact information (ie email address) included in your message. Please note that any messages using inappropriate language, derogatory terms or offensive content of any kind will NOT be posted. Also, any endorsements or offers of services or products are not in any way supported by the 2008 Reunion Committee and the Committee shall not be held responsible for the claims made by postees.

Hi,

My daughter was in the photo of all redheads down on Station Beach on Saturday, and we would love to get a copy if it appears anywhere.  I will try the Kincardine Independent as well, but if a copy turns up can you let me know?

Thanks,
Anne Henry

What a great time was had by all.  We are looking for a set of car and house keys plus a GUESS men’s watch left at the Volleyball Nets Thursday night.  The keys are desperately needed and the watch has great sentimental value.  Please contact at 519 396 7220 .  Thanks!!

What a weekend Music, Madness, Games, Madness, Parties, Madness, Old Friends, Madness, New Friends, Madness and the Shirttail Paraded, the fireworks, and did I mention the Madness. I'm hoping everyone had a great time and got the Madness out of their system for another (TEN!!!!) years or did I hear that they would like to see it back to the tenth so it may be 2020. Anywhooo!  The Kincardine Theatre Guild would like to  thank all who came to "Kincardine Calls", and  hope you left with a little understanding of Kincardine's Rich History, (Hey our history was just as exciting as the American's wild west, they just had better publicity.) or at least a new tune to hum. Thank you to the  "Ways & Means Committee" for helping with the wee stage, And a big big thank you to the Knox Presbyterian Church for putting up with us changing the church into a theatre for two nights, did you know that 2009 is their 160th Anniversary!
Here's hoping that all our visitors  get home safely so that they can return (well, they can come back anytime they want) for the next Reunion 2018 or 2020. Remember ...."You're Only a Stranger Once!"

...... Out from the mist of forgetfulness stealing
Stirring our heartstrings with fond memories
Towering clouds and harbour gulls wheeling
Shades sparkled maples astir in the breeze
           KINCARDINE CALLS TO HER OWN

Thanks to Ian Burbidge, Peter Woodhall,  June Daniel and Margaret Clement of Moosejaw Sack., for her poem for the 1923 Kincardine Reunion for our history lesson.

Andy French...Oh I should apologize to Rob Riggin, I wore his name tag all weekend, so he may not be responsible for all the things he is alleged to have done,  but the legend must live on!

Hi,
I just want to say the reunion website has been absolutely terrific. Especially for those of us who live far away and can't get the Kincardine newspapers and whatnot. All the information up there has been invaluable in terms of helping us plan our weekend.
Thanks so much for all your hard work. Have a safe and fantastic weekend!
